The overall aim of the Action is research on issues of deliberative democracy (theoretical and empirical approaches), especially in relation to the drafting, approving, and\/or amending constitutional provisions.\u00a0<\/p><p>CEDLAW participates through its Director, Assoc. Prof. Ioannis Papadopoulos, and the Head of Operations &amp; Research, Dr. Alexandros Kyriakidis, having been appointed as the two representatives of Greece at the Management Committee of the Action and, after unanimous decision by the 114 members of the Committee, as 2 of the 12 members of the Core Group of the Action.<\/p><p>The most important activity of cooperation between CEDLAW and the Action was the organization of the international, 3-day conference &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/kedid.uom.gr\/en\/activities\/conferences\/democracy-in-crisis\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Democracy in Crisis<\/a>&#8220;, which took place in Athens and also constituted the kick-off conference of the Action.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u201cConstitution-making and deliberative democracy\u201d (CA17135, CONSTDELIB), is a 4-year (2018 &#8211; 20222) Action of the international organization COST Association (39 member states) funded by the European Union.
